James Grossman to be Honored at Jewish Family Service Gala

Rochester, New York - May 8, 2013 - James Grossman, managing director of Hiscock & Barclay's Rochester office, will be the honoree at the 90th Anniversary Gala for Jewish Family Service of Rochester, Inc.

The event, at Temple B'rith Kodesh, in Rochester, will be held May 19.

Grossman's practice areas include Real Property Tax & Condemnation, Health Care & Human Services and Real Estate.

"All of us at Hiscock & Barclay are so proud to have Jim's contributions to the community recognized by Jewish Family Service of Rochester, an organization that is close to his heart," said Hiscock & Barclay Managing Partner John Langan.

Grossman has been involved with Jewish Family Service as a member and chair of the board and has chaired multiple other Rochester-area not-for-profit agencies and boards in the social service and disability fields including the Al Sigl Center, Mary Cariola Children's Center and PRALID (People Rebuilding and Living in Dignity). He has also chaired the Monroe County Bar Association and New York State Tax Assessment and Certiorari Committees as well as having chaired the 5,400-member Real Property section of the New York State Bar Association.
